UEFA announced on Thursday that Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Serbia, Slovakia, and Ukraine have all qualified for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The eight teams will join hosts Qatar in the 16-team field, which will be decided in November. A total of 24 teams will compete in the World Cup, which will be held in 10 stadiums in nine countries.
UEFA has announced that the draw for the group stage will be held on December 2 in London. The eight teams will be drawn into four groups of three. The top two teams in each group will advance to the knockout stage.
